Dont buy a new one, This has a removable silencer which makes it the full open hole, I enhanced the photo to be able to see the bolt on bottom,
You should need an allen wrench on the outside and a wrench/socket for the inside,
Spray the inside around where the two pieces meet with carb cleaner first since yours is so dirty then WD-40 or penetrating oil and wait a minute,
Grab the inside 2.5" tip with a good pair of pliers and PULL with a slight twisting motion, you can use the allen wrench to start the seperation by prying in the empty bolt hole to move the interior piece rearward
It should be difficult to seperate them, but they should come apart,
Did it burn your bumper or did you cut it (I assume you cut it)
BTW, nice car :)
Is that Sirius, whats up with the two extra cig. lighters, are those home theater speakers?

if you want something that is good at penetrating, pick up a bottle of PB Blaster.

omg. im so stupid. it totally makes sence now. lol. in the auction it says "comes with removeable silencer" when i never got it i said to myself "oh well, $30, thats what you get".. but i never thought of it being in there. lol. go me. anyways, when i had the stock muffler on there, i wanted to add a tip, so i went and got one. since the muffler pointed down, i had to cut it back til it was straight, then somewhere ont he highway, my tip fell off. never found it. so, with the muffler air going straight out, it burnt the plastic. it made like a tornado sound too, lol.. since the air comming out was being split by the bumper.. kind of like blowing on a blade of grass between your thumbs. yes, those are house speakers. I blew my amp, and took subs for granted. after you have subs, then loose them, you'll do anything to get that bass back. and just listening to the stock speakers dosent cut it as far as bass is concerned. lol. but, now, i have my new amp, so i took out the house speakers. more pics are also avail. on my car domain. my ID is The_Riddla.
also, with the lighter thing. I needed a output for my radar, and i needed one for my XM radio, so i had to buy a splitter. they had a 4 way splitter, so i figured id get it. in case i wanna add more lighting inside. (i already have 2 blue neons under the seat, but those are wired DIRECTLY to the battery, since they were made for a computer, i just spliced the wires and extended the length).

Yeah, thats about what I figured happened,
I agree bass is a neccesity,
Some nice pics, which one do you currently have installed the 12"? or the two 8-10s"?
I assume the 12" b/c the duals in the box say first day...
Again, very nice though, wouldn't have expected it from an SW,
No offense (text is often taken the wrong way,), but why'd you choose the SW? you like wagons? or was it not by choice?

So, not by choice,
Nice though,
Do what you can with what you've got,
Thats why I work on my Saturn, I was disapointed when I got it, but now I wouldn't sell it, I've had some offers

its hard to realize it. but this car was bought when i was in 3rd grade. lol. NEVER did i ever imagine i would own it. ITs like the car i owned before this (1987 Montero) I just cant stop working on them. No matter how nice/bad of a car it is. With my montero, the day i got it i ripped out all the seats, rugs, everything. Sand blasted all the rust, spray primed it, put carpet back on (after vaccuming of corse). Then i painted the bumpers and stuff black again (sine they were rust colored). I really enjoyed that car, but it has died now. and after 250000 miles, it was time. But all the cars iv owned so far, are are originally owned by my family. I dont think I will ever sell this car either, even if i get a ferarri or something. I think Im going to keep it as a ongoing project. Eventually looking like this:

No, again text is often taken the wrong way (its all about tone...),
I have nothing against wagons, the two in this thread are both very nice,
Hatchbacks and Wagons are nice,
But if I was out shopping for a car, wouldn't be my choice,
But No I have nothing against any car I can think of... Dont like some brands, but I think thats normal
