Has anyone ever changed one of them things in a 93 sl2??? whats the easys way to get it out without cracking it ?

There is a special winshield removal wire, that you use to "saw" thru the glue that holds the windshield to the car.
remove the wipers & the black trim.
remove the interior trim.
Start by pushing a VERY SMALL screwdriver between the glass and the body at the bottom near the center.
Be careful not to lift it.
Once you have a hole started, insert about a 5 foot piece of the wire.
now use the wire to saw thru all the glue that holds the glass to the car.
the wire will soon break so get another piece and continue.
Be very careful around the bottom corners.
BTW: harbor freight tools sells a windshield removal tool that looks like it would work. I'm not sure how it would do around the lower corners.
