ya, i saw that shit on the news, cops are such pricks. i think they think that the harder they punish younger people, the less criminals we'll have out there..........they could just keep dreaming.

it was on the news last week i thought it was fucked up that the would arrest a five year old like that. If you look right before they arrested her all she was doing was sitting in the chair being all calm and they made her get up and they arrested her. dumbass cops

lets play name all the crimes she should be allowed to get away with cause shes young!
last time I read anylaws they didn't say well if your 5 its OK....
The whole thing is sad as fuck imo I bet if she even sees her folks its them fucking around doing dumbshit not teaching her.
What was done was right but it just shows how low humanity can sink.

Word... they should've smacked her up a bit. That kid needs to learn a lesson or two. Fuck all these assholes who jump on the "ohhh, poor kid" bandwagon and then go after the cops... That's the biggest bunch of crap. Cops are NOT pricks... some of them are, but you cannot categorically denounce them all as such. Cops provide a thankless service... people complain about their job at poopy-burger or wherever "Man, I gotta deal with asshole customers all day"... Try dealing with scum-of-the-earth criminals all day, every day, for not nearly enough pay... makes me sick. Yeah, I've been targeted by cops before for being young, or my car, or whatever, but all in all, that's their job, fucking deal with it. :banghead:

Glad to see some people actually see all sides still and dont say "fuck the police" first chance they get. I found most people like that simply say it because they never want to have to realise what they do has consequesces. If you race *which I do* you can die, kill someone, get arrested.
Accept it.
Mechanical restraints like handcuffs and zip cuffs are there to help protect the kid...if she flips out they have to restrain her, and they can hurt her in doing so.
She probally wont flip out if she cant flail....but if she flails and they grab her...they are trained to grap large motherfuckers, not little children, so they act on instinct and can hurt her doing so....

It wasn't the first time this kid had acted up. Her mom, couldn't make it 'right away'(probably smoking crack) and told them not to lay one had on her. Well she started swinging and hitting the principal and being very disruptive. I am 110% in agreeance with what was done.
This country has become so fucking sensitive a school can't even touch a fucking kid without the fear of being sued. In OUR parents days and before, as well as my elementary days, kids acted up they got the paddle. Were there any complaints from the parents, NOT ONE FUCKING BIT. Why? B/c when the kids got home they were disciplined and probably got more spankings. Her parents are to blame for sure. Just by seeing this video, this is a girl we all have to worried about being violent towards society.

I saw that on the news last week as well !!!
I think the kid deserved it !!! ( I hate screaming, obnoxous kids !!!)
If you saw what happened leading up to her getting cuffed ... she trashed the principal's office, threw papers everywhere, tore shit off the walls. Then had the nerve to punch the principal and teacher. I think they did exactly what should have happened.
But, now the mother or parents are probably going to sue the school and police for "child abuse", which in fact the parents should get sued for not controlling their little brat !!!

They should have beat that kid senseless. When I was 5 if we did something along those lines we got backhanded. Thats Louisiana public school for ya, it worked too, you did something ONCE and thats it. Yep, teachers will be able to smack kids if needed when I rule the world...and the lawsuit thing...gladiator battles...oh yeah...its gonna kick ass...

As usual the media drags the viewer into believing a situation without knowing all of the facts.
Kudos to Ace$nyper, ci5ic and Texas for their comments, you guys hit it on the nail.
This morning, the kid and her mom were shown on Good Morning America and although you can't and shouldn't judge a book by its cover, I have to say that the mother does in no way look like she discipline that child in any way or form, ever. That kid is a brat. Having a fit every single time to get her way. The way I see it, if its not put to a stop at this early age, lord knows what she is capable of when she gets older. Maybe a scare tactic such as the handcuffs might send a message but being that they were on GMA the following day proclaiming their dislike for the system and a possible lawsuit just shows me otherwise.
If kids now a days were better discipline either by their parents and or by the teachers, we wouldn't be having such problems in the schools etc.

This is why if I ever have kids they will be going to a private school where they can and do discipline (Dammit I can't spell!!!) My brother got whacked out of his chair a couple times in class this year as a sophmore and you can bet he won't be doing whatever it was he was doing again for some reason pain really helps you remember.

What happened was totally in line with how the authorities handled it. Watch the video, see that she calms down AS SOON AS THE POLICE GET THERE. Even when they are talking to her, the cop asks if she remembers him... she had been warned by the police before...
i feel sorry for the teacher and faculty at that school, and the police who will be chastised by asshole lawyers because of this. and for the girl... what kind of parents allow a child's behavior to escalate to something like this?

same here, but i dont think they do that in private/catholic schools anymore either, at least where i live (PA). i graduated in '02 and have seen plenty of situations in high school where the teacher should of smacked the shit out of the student but you just cant do that anymore...anywhere. its sad. from what my parents and grandparents tell me, nuns were the worse, and i belive it. I had a few nuns in my school that were from the "old school" and have raised the ruler a fewtimes but could never lay it down because of fear of a lawsuit. thats bullshit.

I was watching fox world news last night and Rev. Jesse Jackson told the mother she needs to take legal action against this and said he will help her. also said they had no right to handcuff the little girl. In my mind they had no right to hand cuff a 5 year old girl just because she was acting up.. And about her punching the teacher and the principle, she is 5 years old, its not like she mike tyson. Its not going to hurt. Yea she does need her ass whipped and taught a lesson. I see where both sides are comming from but the fact of the matter is she should not have been arrested.

I used to like Jesse, but at times he just gets into things that needs to stay the f**k out. The cops did say to the kid, "remember me", so this is an ongoing incident with this kid. It seems that other avenues were done before and this was the last result. The kid seems to have problems and the parent(s) are not taking care of the problem. Plus she trashed the place. Before getting into a worse situation like the kid hurting herself or doing more damage, the cops had no choice but to restrain her.
Maybe they should hire the "Nanny" to take care of the problem.

They werent arresting her. They were restraining her. Something that, by the looks of the office, desperately needed to be done. I think the lady that was in the office with her needs the Medal of Honor or something, because there is no way I could have dealt with that for so long without doing something that would have got me into trouble.

although i've never liked Jesse i just always found him to be too pompus and nosey plus I feel hes going to dump the race card on this.
I'd watch Nanny 911 if this girl was on it man that would be a show.

BEAT HER ASS
BEAT HER MOTHERS ASS
BEAT HER FATHERS ASS (he's obviously not in the picture, so get him too)
Mad props to that principle, I'd have zip tied the little bitch to a chair.
When I was little, if I pulled something like that, I didn't get smacked, or spanked, I got fucking nailed with an open palm hard enough to send me flying a few feet then to the floor.

Jesse Jackson just puts his nose in these types of cases to get some TV air time; Someone should "BEAT HIS ASS".
He got involved in the Terri Shiavo case at the very end for the same reason. Where the fuck was he for 15 yrs while Terri laid in bed. I think they should send the brat and the parents to his house and let him deal with them.

I agree. I work with little kids every day at my job, and I think about some of our kindergardners doing that, and its just unfathomable.

If I was that teacher I would have smacked that kid so hard. Kids these days have no respect for others and need for discipline. You think she will not do it again if she got detention or whatever? wrong she will
Smack her , and the odds are she will learn.
