A little update... thinking that since it's a Super Car, it will be shame if the brake discs cannot be seen prominently. So I was tempted to do some operations...
Firstly, broke the disc into pieces...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-37.jpg

Adding a styrene sheet as a new base for the disc so that the disc will be pushed outward a little...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-38.jpg

Glued the disc back...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-39.jpg

The disc is reborned with a new face (PE from Acustion)...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-40.jpg

This is the rear wheel's pic before operation...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-41.jpg

after...

This is the front wheel's pic before operation...

after (the central ring of the disc is a PE part from SAS's brake kit)...

Good idea with the brakes, how long did that take you to do each one? keep it up, will continue to follow

The 1st one took about an hour, then the rest 3 took another hour. :)

Thanks guys. Time for the engine bay... hollowed some area...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-51.jpg

Divided the intake cover into pieces, so that 1) enlarged some parts a little with styrene sheet; 2) easier to paint/cf later...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-52.jpg

Made 2 engine covers from some styrene sheets, found some engine details from old kits...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-53.jpg

Made 2 engine ducts from some left over plastic tree and expoxy putty...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-47.jpg
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-48.jpg

then primed with surfacer and did some refinements...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-49.jpg

Test fit all the elements...

Did the cf work, will clear coat later;
Enlarged the intake duct connections with stylene sheet so as having a more powerful look;
Rescribed the enigne ducts;
Painted the intake cover but not satisfied with the result... :( need to redo it later.

Thanks for the comments. Time for the interior... Since there are 2 speakers (instead of 1) on each door panel, I removed the orginal & find a replacement - mercury battery cell...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-71.jpg

The smaller speaker is a portion of plastic tree inserted with a straight head pin...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-72.jpg

As I am going to leave both door windows open, the door panel have to be at the same level as the body, otherwise it looks like this...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-62.jpg

So, various styrene sheets are placed at the undertray to lift up the cockpit...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-73.jpg

Besides, the door panels have to be extended a little bit, and the result...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-63.jpg

The firewall need to be extended a litte as well...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-64.jpg

The original pedals were extruded too outward...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-66.jpg

Removed them from the front panel & moved a bit backward...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-67.jpg

Scratch build the accelerator...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-65.jpg

More space for the foot to rest...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-68.jpg

Added a key hole with a straight head pin...
http://photobucket.com/albums/y159/ac8dl/Murcielago/ML-70.jpg

A little complaint... the steering wheel and the seat cannot be aligned vertically... :banghead: Fujimi made me sick again... :banghead:

Hi,

graet idea with batteries used as speakers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Iīm not absolutely sure, but in former exotic cars the steering wheel / pedals and the seat didnīt make a line. Usually the steering wheel / pedals were tending to the right, due to the left front wheel well.

I like the way your modify the speakers ^_^
Keep up for more progress of the Murcie

Thanks Micha. Neither me can sure about the alignment of the steering wheel and the driver seat. I can only find a pic of a Roadster from Lambocars (http://www.lambocars.com/hr/mur/murroad14.htm) for reference. I think both cars share most parts and orientation of the interior.
Anyway, I'll leave this part untouch as I want to finish this build earlier. :)

Ah, good to see it resurected. The pearl yellow looks spot on. It's reassuring to see an old build returned to- now if I can only manage that trick myself.

Auw12, thank you for your compliment. Actually, there is still a lot of imperfections around this build... :banghead: maybe reserve these corrections for the next build, otherwise it'll be a never ending story.
Sure, I'll post the murcie at sonic as well, but I have to figure the color balance problem of my DC first. It seems to have a wrong presentation of the yellow color. Pls wait for a while.

Cheers,
A_C
