Bought used WS with dead radio and no owner's manual. Not knowing which fuse was for the radio, I checked all fuses and found the cigarette lighter one burned, replaced it, radio still dead. Pulled the radio and don't know which wires on the connector should be hot always, hot with key, hot with lights on, etc. Need wiring decoding help. And, if there are other fuses in the wiring harness or inside the radio - where are they located?

I was unable to find repair help at Autozone.com for 1999 WS but did fine one for 98 WS (don't know if they're the same but I'll find out soon).

I still need the radio connector wire color codes - which wire should be hot always, hot with key on, hot with lights on, etc. Plesae help!

Uhhhhh, I need a little more information as to what sound system you have. I have about 15 pages of wiring. Rear system, CD, what do you have?

Thanks "way2old"! Actually, I found the problem: Fuse #6 was missing. NEW QUESTION: WHY IS THE FUSE PANEL SO DIFFERENT FOR FUSE #6?? I WAS ABLE TO PUT A REGULAR MINI-TYPE FUSE IN, BUT IT WAS WAY DEEP WITHIN A "LONG SQUARE CHANNEL" ON THE FUSE PANEL. IS THERE A SPECIAL TYPE OF FUSE FOR THIS #6 SLOT? I had to use needle nose pliers to push it in, and I pity the guy who ever has to remove it.
