Need the radio code for 1996 Montero.

I have had this car about a month now. When I bought the car, the radio did not work. Come to find out, the battery was replaced and the radio needed a code to function.

Well the dealer was no help at all. Everyplace I have tried wants between 50-100 dollars to get me this code. Is there someone in here that can get me the code I need?
