Can anyone point me in right direction for a good adapter plate for the b series tranny to work with h series engine?

And possibly if anyone knows can you use regular b series mount kit if you use the b series tranny and adapter plate with the h22a? Because i did alot of searching and a few people said you can.

You need to read up on the SH engine and a thing called ATTS. And I doubt you can use a b-series mount kit with the b-series trany. They were probably talking about using the B-series trany mount from a kit.

No I read alot about it theres an adaptor plate for the b series tranny to h series motor. A few people on honda tech were making them i guess but I searched and found no results except for people saying to use an adaptor plate because its much easier.

It has nothing to do with the adapter plate, it has to do with compatability issues with any transmission other than the SH (or Euro R). Part of the actual block is different, to work with the ATTS.

Like I care I have entire summer to complete it and its 500 dollers for full swap kit who could turn that down?

well it just sounds to me like you're going to run into a lot of compatibility problems with it and you might be better off with a more standard swap. whatever you want to do.

I'm assuming you know this but I just want to make sure. $500 isn't going to cover all the parts you need to do the swap. But I wish you luck man, I'd love to see some pics when you're done with it. I'm sure it will be bad ass.

i have all the links from honda-tech bookmarked and will gladly give them too u...unfortunately they're in a hard drive from my laptop that i tossed...

but i know what ur talkin about with regards to that adapter and everything else...ur best bet is to search out those people on honda-tech and have ur $$$ ready to ask them to make the mounts and adapter plate...but odds are that they probably won't...i'd buy the engine and spend the summer makin $$$ and contacts to get that engine put in

Well, if you have lots of time, and patience, then yeah i'd say give it a try. Have someone that has done an engine swap before help you though.

Personally I would buy the motor then just resell it to make a profit.

Well I was thinking of doing that but its got some sort of mount kit with it an lsd tranny, so I will sell those to make some money for kit to mount in crx with gsr tranny.

The guy RMF on honda-tech is going to release the kit very soon he has already got the design down he is just perfecting it before release.

If i remember correctly it wont actually be hard to put it in if you use the adapter plate. I think its like user 2point2 on honda-tech.com He used a EG mount kit with a h22a engine, s80 type r lsd tranny, think it was like an accord midshaft. Apparently it bolted in fine! Custom axles were a must thought. Search his name, im sure you can find some info.
IMO, id sell the complete swap for like $2000 and go for a turboed b-series!

guys DO NOT BUY from Rywire.com!

he is a spammer and scammer. i sent him a pm after 3 out of his first 4 posts had links suggesting harnesses he had for sale. after he read and replied to my pm he made MORE identical spam replies. he left a reply in 1 thread saying "only customers contact for tech support"....those are words of somebody who is here soley to make a buck. those are the last words you should say on a site that helps for FREE.

this scammer/spammer will be banned. if you guys see any other replies please hit the report to moderator button!
