taillights

How do you remove the orange color in the taillights. I have seen it done but i dont know how. Any help would be great thanx.

The only thing I've personally seen done is to tape off the rest of the tail light and spray candy red (red tinted clear) on it till you achieve the desired color... it looked good on the car I saw it on, and he did the reverse light too.

I seriously considered doing this myself, but the thought of getting a ticket for looking cool over powered me :(

I was told that your turn signals have to be orange, not red if they came from the factory like that, although since I was told this I have seen so many factory red brake/running/turn signal lights that I am still tempted to go get the paint...

i had tinted taillights for a while, no legal problems(unless you have some wierd local law) but don't tint the reverse lights, that is illegal
