Unknown Bolt in Transmission

I just rebuilt my buddies 99 Windstar transmission and have 1 bolt left over. It's a bolt that's threaded with no head. It is a spacer bolt, that much I know. It's about a 20 mm fixed "nut" about halfway down the thread with about an inch worth of round metal. It's all one piece. Can anyone help me and let me know where it goes??? Thanks.

Oh, it's about a 4-4 1/2 inch bolt.

Sounds like it is a band adjusting bolt to me.
