Ground wire kits

Anybody tried these ground wire kits that supposedly give your sensors a better path to ground?

"It also smoothens and stabilizes the engine at high RPM. It improves starting adeptness and response. It also reduces fuel consumption. It also increase the horsepower of your vehicle for about 5-8 htp"

Too good to be true right?
All the other people/sites I've checked out said they noticed gains (lights, sound system, engine sound/idle and acceleration)

I thought about getting this one, but dont think it will really do anything except clean up the underhood look,

Here is an example:

HAHAHA!!! Ground wires giving you horsepower!!!
Thats a good one!!!

Since electricity theoretically travels at the speed of light, and your engine is grounded anyway, the maximum distance that the ground is going to have to travel through the aluminum (good conductor) block to the existing ground strap to the battery might be 6 feet. If you could reduce that distance to 4 feet by using the aftermarket ground strap, it is still going to ground for all intents and purposes instantly either way. So...unless there is something I am missing...HAHAHA!!! Ground straps making extra horsepower!! If only it were so...

unless you are driving a 30-year old pick-up with rust holes big enough to fit baseballs in the frame rails, don't expect much of a gain. trust me, i played around with the idea using a roll of 10 gauge wire.
