97 sl2 questions

Bought a 97 sl2 105000 miles for 1400$ a couple of weeks ago. Great car! Engine, trannie, all drivetrain great. Had to put a different steering column in but now cruise and all steering wheel switches work. There are 3 switches near the stereo that control the rear defrost, traction
control and foglights. the lights on the switches come on like they work but i know for sure the rear defrost and foglights do not. I dont think the traction control works either but not sure how to test that. Is there a common wiring connection for these 3 switches? Also the airbag light flashes 7 times but doesn't go off as the repair manual says. 1 more question. This has a 12 cd changer in the trunk ( a delco,which i think was a dealer installed option), but I have no magazine for it. Is there anyway to tell if the cd changer works before I spend 40 bucks ordering a magazine for it. Thanks for any help you can give me.... bob.... justbob150@yahoo.com

my wiring diagram isn't telling me much about the three switches. but check all your fuses, and keep in mind the fog lights will only come on with your parking lights or low beams.

a Tech2 scantool is needed to determine the problem with the airbags. you will need to visit any GM/Saturn dealership for a diagnosis.

i know of no way to test the CD changer.
