Well I unplugged the battery the other day to do some work on the car and when i pluged it back in there was a message on the radio after i started the car. It says "Cal Err" then it goes away and plays normally does any1 know what this is, i cant imagine it would be that bad of a thing since the radio still works but any feedback would be helpful.

play with everything you have. if you have the homelink thing, check temp, fuel use. im guessing its for a calibration error. but if I have time ill try to look it up in the dealership service manuals

the radio isn't fully calibrated. the only way you can get it to go away is go to a chevy dealer and they use their scan tool to calibrate it. your screwed into paying buddy.(if u want the message to go away)

Don't remeber exactly but in the ownners manaul it mentioned the "cal err" as stupis as this sounds I remeber it metnioning driving in a square a few times to recalibrate it. has something to do with homelink sys.
Mine has always said it. Bought it a few months old and I left alone. radio works fine.
