So I was going over a bump and hit a piece of metal and thought omg I just broke my car. Everything was ok but I noticed this little valve spout thingy that was leaking radiator fluid. here’s a pic,

Any ideas why? Or is it supposed to do that. I have an 89 crx.

i looked all over to find a hose and i cant find anything it dosent leak a ton it drips some. the twist thingy isnt leaking its the little spout and i think the twist thingy drains the radiator.

the "twist thingy" as you guys put it is actually called a radiator drain cock. when u un screw it, coolant will come out of that spout. when its undone all the way it comes out both holes. if your car leaks out of there yours might be cracked. toss a pan underneath to catch all the coolant and pull the drain cock out. if its fine then i dunno, try to tighten it all you can and see if it stops

take it out and put blue rtv on it and screw it back in and let the car sit for about an hour and it shouldn't leak.
