Is it red? I think it looks like it is the rgular brake system. This light will come on if your fluid is low or if the parking brake is on as well.
PS look through this forum. someone (I think 12ounce) poseted a link tha has the owner's manuals online.

(!) this means the warning for the brakes indicates two things --that either the parking brake is on or not fully released, fluid level is low fill .

Thanx for the website posts although on the one you have to pay for it and the ford website it says no glovebox manual available (Imagine that lol ) I think it may be that the brake fluid is low because i looked at it the unit and it is below the min allowed. So i guess when i can get to a store that sells a funnel that can reach way back to where the unit is located i guess we'll see if that fixes the problem thanx guys

I gotten that same message at the genuineflmservice site ... and yet have gotten thru at a later time. I don't know why this happens, but you might try a few different times and see if you eventually get thru.
I have downloaded the manual for the 2001 before ... but cannot now.

Well after buying brake fluid I bent down to pop the hood and saw the same icon on a button that read Tire reset. Whatever that does I have no clue but I clicked on it and the light went out so i'm happy

You have either a sytem that monitors air pressure by special valve stems and a radio receiver or it is part of your ABS wheel sensors.
The system has detected that one or more wheels has either sped up or down more than an average amount. Such as when you lose air pressure and the wheel now has less diameter and the computer will detect this speed change.
It could also mean you have just replaced tires or had them rotated, or have dirty or malfunctioning wheel speed sensors.
From the 2001 manual:
The low tire warning system should be reset whenever new tires are installed, rotated or tire pressures are changed.
To reset the system, turn the ignition to the ON position, press and hold the "TIRE RESET" switch for three seconds. The low tire warning indicator light will flash three times as the low tire warning system begins to initialize. The initial adjustment is completed after driving over 65 km/h (40 mph) for 15 to 20 minutes."
