I notice the control in the back passanger area for rear heat and ac in the rear is not working. I can control it at the front but can not get ac to come out of the top vents anyone had this problem . The back control does nothing at all. pulled it out wires are connected to it so I am sure it should work. Any Ideas before I start pulling apart. Gary

I have the same problem, there is vacuum actuator that operates a blend door in the rear. If that line is not pulling a vacuum or the actuator is bad, then the door won't work and the result is no A/C. On my van, it's a green vacuum line. Check it and you should be able to find the problem. My vacuum line had a leak and now it works fine.

I had a problem where only hot air would blow in the back. In my case vacuum line itself was OK but the switch on the front dash was not allowing the vacuum to pass back to actuate the rear blend door (the blend door defaults to the hot air position). The switch has both electrical and vacuum connections. It is fairly simple to replace the switch by gently prying off the cover around it and going from there.

Where is the rear blend door located and would i be able to manually open it for the summer and leave it in that position?

It is behind a large access panel in the plastic behind the driver's seat. I had to remove both the middle seats to get access. I suppose you could find some way to retain the door in the cool position but it will not stay there without some form of retention.
