I changed my transmission fluid in the last couple of days, and now the tranny slips in between gears!? If I shift manually from 1 to 2 to Drive, it seems alright, but on it's own it slips. I checked to make I sure I used the proper fluid recommended when I bought the new filter and pan gasket. What about the recommended torques on the small gasket bolts? I did not use a torque wrench, but would this cause issues, if overtightened?? I think 11 lbs. was spec'd. . . Any thoughts out there?

I don't think the oil pan screws would be your problem... though I think 7 foot lbs is the more correct torque.
If you are sure you have the right spec fluid, I would next wonder if you have a good seal between the filter and the pump pick-up port... or is the pump picking up air? If the mounting screws for the filter are overtorqued the filter may distort and may cause air leakage. Did you have any problem with the filter seal? Do you notice any foam or air bubbles in the fluid?
