Any reason why your getting a SPEC 3. I dont see any big power adders in your sig, unless this is a future mod. The SPEC stage 1 will support ~ 270 ft lbs of torque and still allows you to be able to slip the clutch. Im running the SPEC stage 3 and it bites extremely hard, but what sucks is there is either no engagement or full engagement. A perfect launch is difficult since you cant slip the clutch.

i found a broken in one for 150$, but i've been considering it and it doesn't seem like that would be the best choice, i'll prolly just go w/ a stage 1 or 2 and a flywheel, i didn't know that you couldn't slip it though...i'm not so used to 3g's everyone i know has eclipse setups and tahts all i'm used to so an ACT 2600 is all i ever thought about and they don't make them for my car

nobody asks on any mods except for whats under the engine, so i'm trying to go for everything you can't see and what you wouldn't think would be fast first, after the clutch it'll end up being brakes and junk

You need to get out to the west coast and give Redneck a run, that would be worth seeing.

Vroom Vroom. Turbo is good. Alot more into the truck than that though.

This is the prototype truck for a turbo kit being made for the Colorado and the Sonoma. The truck is mine, but the work on the truck is being done through my uncle, and is currently thousands of miles away from me. (The truck is in Colorado.. I am currently stationed in Germany.) I have alot of hard earned Iraq-made tax free money put into this truck. ;)

Why not drop a turbo common block in there and have one hell of a sleeper?

Sadly my pile isn't much of a pile. It consists of a first gen DSM BOV that has been modded to hold 30 PSI. Next to that is a Grainger valve, you might know it as a manual boost controller. After that is a polished intercooler tip from Borla. If someone want to help me they can donate some money via PayPal to help me find the rest of the exhaust!!! Anyhow, I think I am going to buy a single tip from Borla instead one with a bigger inlet and outlet. Most of the money spent on the GTC has been on gray interior trim and the new wheels and tires.

Well if I'm on top of things, he swapped a SR20DET into his '72 Datsun 240z with all the basic bolt-ons and a boost controller. I think he dyno'ed around 230-240whp, and when considering the weight of his vehicle, its probly deep into the 12's. It would be great to see you two go at it...and as for the banned thing...no worries, I'm sure it will all work itself out.

If we are talking about redneck, he dyno'd at 252 whp...he says low 13 to high 12 is his guess.

An update.....
Little bit clearer of a pic. Plastic bag looking thing by the timing chain is an LS6 ported oil pump.
I will take another pic next Monday, when this table will probably be doubled.
Magnaflow 3" catback is on the floor behind the table.

Well, I could add 7 quarts of Valvoline VR1 50 weight Racing Oil and an AC Filter that I THINK will fit to the pile, lol (well, the new belts are done and installed, so I guess this is a new pile, lol) since you got a two AC filters on display!

And in a week or two (or three, lol), either some Goodyear Eagle Dragway Special 31x14 D-5 Compound Slicks or some Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks 31x13 in size M5 compound.

Not an LS6 cam.

I will have a 226/234 554/575 112 LSA Lunati grind sitting around here soon enough. The one that is in my current motor. Good nitrous cam.
Probably let that go for $240.
