2000 Windstar SEL Front Turn Signal

My right front turn signal is not working. I get the message on the message center to replace the lamp and the fast blinking turn indicator on the dash. I tried replacing the parking/turn lamp, but it did not make a difference. Checked the fuse with a continuity tester, it was good, but it did not replace. What else? The cornering light is unlit and does not turn on. The rear right signal works fine.

You may want to pull the unit and check for corrison were the wirers run in from the back not so sure how easy or hard that is. someone hit my grandmothers car one time and we did not know it tell she wanted me to look at why her light was not working come to find out someone had hit her car and you could not tell untill I pulled her light out and found some damage behind the cover and up under her plastic bumper. just thinking though..
