Well we had a 9-3 Viggen for awhile, and my dad had a rare Volvo F4 truck wich i "drove" (held the wheel) when I was 5 years old, lol. Not much more than that really.. I've sat in afew nice ones though, like a race Viper, and a F430..

Haha yeah dude, it was a funny. Sorry for the confusion. I was just making a "humorous" observation of your car flipping situation by equating it to them Duke boys and the shanannagins they got into. We can still be h0meb0yz right?
Hey, first time back since i went off, so if you were just making a joke like ya said, then sorry for going off on ya. I just hate people who, being blunt here, has more money for better toys, and act like a$$holes to those who cant afford such things.
I have no resentment against those who can, only those who can and act the way i stated above. I run into so many of those types so often online, i have a short fuse now days. Have a good'en as they say.

Wow this is the firts post in the Car Sightings thread in 23 days, and the last one was also by me, weird (well, no it isnt).
Anyways I drove (finally) a BMW 8 Series. It was an early 90's 850i 6 speed maunal (now I can say Ive driven an exotic car with a manual V12). It was really, uhhh... craptastic. Not in a bad way, but its age showed. The clutch was not very good and it was damn near impossible to shift into 2nd gear. But its still a sick ass car none the less.

I drove one onto the carwash track I worked at in 1994. Freakin' awesome car!

Well I'm not really sure, but all I know is old BMW sunroofs arent the best. I was in the wash and pushed the sunroof button to make sure it was closed, and it started opening, so I pushed it the other way, and it still opened. But I got out before any water was sprayed (and I'm usially not that lucky when this kind of thing happens).

Yeah ok so this thread is basically dead but I may as well post in it because this time I've got a real neat car that I drove. Some call it a 2007 Alpina B7, but I call it... a 2007 Alpina B7. Sold for $124,378. Thats much money for a 7 Series that still has a V8 (15 city, and somthing like 23 highway mpg).

I've never been in anything special. As soon as my dad and I rebuild the 72 Mach 1 that will change. My freind is going to give me a ride in his dad's 69 StingRay.

We had a Saab 900 SPG for a while that had been lightly modded for amateur rally racing. (Suspension, turbo, tires, radar detector) Very strange gearbox.
Also had an old MG Midget. Not fast, and it looks like a locust, but awesome all the same. :smokin:

Havent driven many new special cars lately, drove an A4 speed here, an SLK320 there. Tried to drive a Z8 that has $30k worth of modifications on it, but I'm not authorized to drive it :banghead: .
But what do we have here? An actually cool car I drove? Yes sir. This here is a 2003 Porsche 911 Targa 6 speed.

I never drove it but a friend of my Brother had a '67 Cobra back in the mid 70's I rode in. Nice & damn fast. I also was given a '68 Hemi Charger as a loaner from the dealer when my car was being worked on back in 1973.

Hey guys! How is everyone doing?
Whats your favorate car?!
the one I built to speak to the local hot shot kids with fast cars
1981 Pontiac Firebird-
modifications
tried to match KIT- close- as my 9 year old son said
1964 Chevy SW 400 small block with 441 heads
stripped, to the machine shop, larger valves, steamed cleaned, bored .30, crank to be turned- blue printed bearings- Summit Racing parts to match their project 400 small block
400 small block with Nitro, 700R4 built-
dyno is was supposed to produce 435 hp max 400 Hp/400 flbs torque at 3,600rmp- 200 HP Nito system
it produced 613 rear wheel HP- on the Dyno
at the drag strip with the exhaust cutouts opened-
full Nitro after 1st to 2nd shift- 11.06 1/4 miles
didn't run slicks- but the Mickey Thompson Competitor Radials at 9lbs plain got me off the line slick as all get out
you'd want to be strapped in when I hit Nitro at full on going into 2nd gear- I could lift that long front end up 9"
our local Ford dealership had a service manager with the new 5.0 that would come looking- I always raised the hood- little 5.0 with NOS
he was known to pull the heads, shave, custom exhaust, even put a NOS system
Ford parts manager told him- "you'd best be glad he doesn't make you pay to try your 5.0 against it"
I was chuckling when they told me-
took that parts man for a ride-
"best take me back, need to change my pants"

2010 Camaro SS, I have been fan of the LS V8's for quite some time and finally got the chance to experience one. I liked the engine more than the car but it did handle well just can't stand the visibility and functionality of such a heavy car.
