other then the mirror being in the way of seeing out the drivers window that car is very sharp and pretty in black , most you see are red or yellow! what else you got working ?

yes you are right! Pretty weird position Ferrari chose for the mirror - they changed it later!

It did look weird, but adjusted properly anyone could see out of it.
Think about it this way...I was driving my '78 Pontiac Grand Am (sweet car, wish I still owned it) and a Testarossa pulled next to me in the right hand lane at a stoplight. That funky driver's side mirror was level w/my right side mirror. It was set at the same height as it was on most cars, it's just that exotics are much lower than normal cars. I don't imagine visibility was a huge issue w/that original mirror, it might have been optimal...but it sure did look better on the later versions w/two normally-positioned mirrors.

Cool model, great color scheme! I built one nearly identical to it when the Tamiya kit first came out in the 80's. You obviously have good taste :biggrin: .

one of my favourite all time ferrari besides the 355, this is just a classsic shape, nice build clean paint, well done.
