How to replace rear abs sensors

95 windstar and the abs kick in when coming to a slow stop. No abs light comes on. I just had the front abs sensors replaced. From other postings, it sounds like the rear abs are at fault. What's involved with replacing these? Is it a "do-it-yourself" option?

ABS sensors are magnetic and can give false readings if too much metal sticks to them. Before replacing, I would suggest removing them, cleaning off any metal, and then re-installing them. It has worked for me twice in the past.
As I recall, the rear sensor can be removed (with the wheel ON) from the back-side of the brake drum. Just follow the electrical lead and it will direct you to it.
The sensors aren't very available, because they rarely fail.
