93 Sable 3.8 Fuel Injector

I am repairing my blown headgaskets myself. When I took my heads to the machine shop I did not pull some of the fuel injector orings out of the heads that stayed in when I pulled the fuel rail. I wasn't too concerned since I knew I could buy new orings. Unfortunately I guess there were some little plastic caps that sat on the tip of the fuel injector that also stayed with the head and are now gone. Some are still the fuel injectors but some are missing. Can I replace/Do I need to replace them? The parts stores all sell the orings but the kits don't come with these obviously throw away pieces. Any help appreciated, not up for buying $300 dollars worth of fuel injectors for my $1500 car because I'm missing $3 dollar piece of plastic.

oh by the way they're called pintle caps. I just found in the fuel injector replacement section where it tells you be careful not to lose them. I guess they protect the tip of the fuel injector. Great.
