SL2 Alarm problem

I have an saturn SL2 98 and my mom forgot to turn off the lights and so the battery died and someone helped her jump start it and a few days later my sister forgot to turn off the lights and then i jump started it and they came home and i bought a new battery. Installed it and realized that the alarm no longer works can anyone help me figure this out...?

OEM or aftermarket?

etherway, the system probilly thinks its being stolen or hotwired at will need reset somehow.
