hey i need a little help..my 200 mercury sable with 94,000 miles just started missing. so i took it to autozone and they said it was a missfire on cylinders 2 and 4 ....i need some help bad

The first thing I would do is replace plug wires and plugs

I would do the same. If you can see the spark module make sure there aren't any cracks.

Just make sure it's not a a vacuum hose getting a hole due to close proximity on a hot metal. Mine did the same thing and Autozone tech stated that it has misfire on the two cylinders and suggested to replace the spark plug and wires. I was going to replace them anyway and so I replaced it. It did not fix it. Looking behind the engine and found out a vacuum hose was rubbing on the EGR pipe which created a hole due to the close proximity and rubbing on the EGR pipe. I put some vacuum hose connector and clamps to fix it and move it away from the EGR pipe.
