Cutout switch for fuel pump

My 1995 Saturn SL1 got stolen in June; we got it back a few days later, in fine condition, but with some stuff from the trunk missing. Dangit. Anyway- I'd been meaning to put a cutout switch in it for years, but have only got around to it recently.
Today I spent about 3 hours under the dash, and figured out I can put in a cutout switch to the electric fuel pump; I found the fuse in the console, and it's just a 10-amp that should be easy enough to take care of. The problem is, the fuses on the one side of the fuse box seem to have nothing to do with the wires on the other side! I cut through 4 wires, and none of them replicated what happened when I removed the fuel pump fuse! I tried tracking down every wire I could, and even tried tracing them with my multimeter, but every time I thought I had it, the car still ran! Take out the fuse and- pfft! The engine stopped in a few seconds, which is perfect for what I want.
My question is- does anyone know the color of the wires coming out of the fuse box on my model of Saturn that go to the electronic fuel pump? The Chilton manual is useless- they don't even show where the fuel pump IS, although they describe how to remove it.
The second question is- if I can't figure out the wiring in the console, does anyone know where the wiring is to the fuel pump further back in the car- like in the trunk? I could wire the cut-out switch further back. Wouldn't bother me any!
Thanks in advance.

Hanyes manual has a fair wiring diagram.
the fuel pump is in the tank, there is wiring to it on the driver side of the trunk. the fuel pump fuse leads directly to the fuel pump relay then exits the IPJB at pin D4, it is a gray wire.

That was exactly it- the gray wire. Now all I need to do is put a dongle in there, which should be simple enough. It's great- the car starts, but stalls out almost immediately. So, if it DOES get swiped again, at least I know where I'll find it! Thanks!
