When the a/c and heater knob does not work on 1,2,3, but works on 4 (full blast), what is the problem and how can it be fixed?

question # 2 is GSR a metrosexual or just gay?

haha i would love a test of some sort then you could start a topic that only people who passed the test could post to eliminate potential future GSRs

about the topic of this one though...i think its hilarious because i manually shifted my 1999 sentra sr20de automatic for like 2 years straight (dont laugh my parents were strict back when i lived at home and even though it was my money they wouldnt let me buy the beautiful 1998 black/black 240sx that i so desperately wanted)
i also neutral dropped the shit out of the sentra for like 6 months straight until i made enough power to chirp the tires on a brake stand launch (dont laugh again because I live in minnesota so my near-stock auto sentra could beat almost any import here anyways, plus i was 16 and i didnt know shit yet)

i guess my car was special...
but then God took his revenge out on the car in the form of an old guy in a speeding white mustang while i was sitting at a stoplight.
i kinda wish i took some pics, it was tragic and ugly

Is #1 a problem with 240s or with all cars? I would have to say there's a leak in the vacuum lines behind the controller.

and for #2 i think he's metrosexual, i mean it's a cheap shot to say he licks guy ass.
