I haven't tried this on my 01' but from what i understand it should work. get door handles from the rear doors and install them on your front doors. obviously you'll have to have a keyless entry system

ever seen a car in a show that has no exterior door handles, just smooth door everywhere. thats shaving the door handles. getting rid of them. but then you have to install a switch inside that uses a magnetic selenoid to push and pull the door latch from inside and a door popper to push the door open so it works. I dont see how using your rear handles will do anything.

your rear door handles don't have key holes. it gives it a little more cleaner look. without painting or body work.

Why Bother? You still have a friggin door handle only now you are screwed if either your remote battery or car battery dies!

shaving the handles is REMOVING them, not taking them off of the back and putting them in the front... and what are you going to do with the back handles?

As everyone says, shaving is actually removing the handles. For the effort it would take with what you say, you might as well have real shaved handles anyways.
