FWD 5.3 Small Block??????

I know the 5.3 v8 is a step up from the supercharged 3.8 v6, but since the vettes are gettin LS2's and LS7's and the GTO's and SSR's gettin LS2's, dont you think this FWD 5.3 should be left to the pontiacs and they drop an LS1 or LS6 (damn that'd be nice) into the 06+ Impala SS's and Monte Carlo SS's? I mean a 5.3 in a grand prix and bonneville are just fine but dont give it to the 2 cars that deserve better. the Impala and monte carlo are screaming GIVE ME REAR WHEEL DRIVE!!! like I said, the 5.3 is a step up, but i think the LS1 or LS6 coulda got the job done!

Hell even throw in a redone 4.3 that was in the 96 Caprice classics!!!

These 2 cars have a history to live up to, and they DESERVE RWD!!!!

The '06 Impala/Monte are "refreshes". The Zeta platform-based '08 (possibly '09) will be all-new and RWD. Monte is in doubt at that time, however.
