Building an Eclipse for my GF

Ok, so my girlfriend is really into Eclipses (me being 100% domestic Chevy guy) so I was wondering what Eclipse kit that you guys (who have built them before) like the most? Just hoping someone could give me some advice?

i only have one, the first one released from revell (fast n furious). it's decent but the engine is a complete load of crap. hard to explain, but if you get that ONE, the engine is just weird. header on the back of the engine underneath the intake manifold, turbo connected to a box on the front of the block, blah. i think on the more recent released version, they have a more accurate version of the engine. for me, i'm gluing the hood shut on the one i bought.

that eclipse is just a nice body with some decals and a lonely nos bottle....piece of crap. which b.t.w. was made by amt.
get the one that was in fact made by revell released recently (relatively) that has a load of different options for the body

I built one of the newer Revell Eclipses, it gives you three wheel options, two front bumper options, two rear bumper options, and two hood options, one of them being completely clear. I didnt have any problems with it. I have a thread in the completed street section to show off what I did for it.

Wal-Mart, but I have seen it at Hobby Lobby stores too.

Damnit, I looked at Target, Walmart, Gary's Hobby shop (local hobby store) and I found jack. The only ones I found were F&F. Kinda sucks. I have yet to try Hobby Lobby but I'll go tommorrow, seeing as how that's when I'll be buying one anyways (paycheck baby!)

yes it is. The ease of the build is very nice. I think you will like the possibilities that this model gives you.

Couldn't have flown far could it? Grovelling around on your knees with a torch looking for dropped pieces is a character building part of the modelling experience.

Haha, i remember when i was building the Modena i lost a headlight cover. We had people over that night and people were WARNED not to walk anywhere near my desk. I guess i probably seemed a bit crazy when i was drunk later that night crawling around my desk and screaming $#@! *&$%!!!!! :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:

The thing dissapeared in thin air. i swear. I crawled all over for the last half hour if not more (I posted after close to 15-20 minutes of searching) and I got a flashlight. I STILL haven't found one. I check on revell-monogram.com and it's a 3dollar part. I really can't afford that (I have to get a new car since my parents decided to put mine up for sale) so yeah. I think I'm screwed.

Haha, I found it. It was on the shelf for the keyboard. That was probably the last place I would've looked. Unfortunatly, I looked to late for my Civic's rear drivers side wheel which was serving as a donor for the tire. hehe.
