96 saturn sl2

Hello I just purchased this 96 saturn. I can tell it is going to use alot of oil. Can anyone tell me, do the new oil treatments out there stop these cars from burning so much oil? This car has 93000 miles on it but is very clean inside and out, the engine compartment is also spotless very nice little car except this oil usage, I have only driven the car 350 miles and have had to add a quart of oil. I have read some other forums and see this seems to be a problem with these cars anybody have any thoughts? Thanks for you're help, Rick
