I got...
nothing :frown: . Before x-mas we were all lazy and poor (mom and older sis aren't work). Mainly lazy, we didn't feel like shopping and all that stuff, I sure as hell didn't feel like it b/c after final exams I started working full-time right away. And since no one was really excited and felt lazy, we decided to skip this year. Makes it a lil more stress-free for all of us, not to mention next year's will be that much better. Though I didn't care for presents at all, I did kind of miss it christmas night. Anyways, at least I got to eat a shitload of food.
My mom prepared a huge amount of food (thanksgivin type food), then we went to a relatives the next day where he had a rack of food as well. Pretty much just ate the whole dayin, shootin pool and watchin football. Best of all though was x-mas eve was when my bro and cousins played risk. Me and my bro kept talkin smack to each other for ages, and we finally had the time to play which I won, it felt really good finally beating my older brother

I got a bunch of misc clothes and whatnot, not that they are small potatoes, but I'm sure you don't want to hear about socks and sweaters.... On the other hand I did get a gift and a card from my little brother (we haven't spoken in years, hopfully this is the beginning of a healthy relationship with him.) The crown jewel of all was a new 8 1/2 foot Cortland 5/6 weight fly rod, and a weight balanced Martin reel from my girlfriend. Not only does she tolerate my fly fishing habit, but she supports it too!!!

Our local wal-mart only got 11 of them and my mom told me she got the last one. They said Sony had some problems shipping out all the orders so some places only got a few.

Yes, Irv still drives his car (there's a Irvmeter one of the Volvo forums sites - Swedespeed, Brickboard, or VVspy I think.)
Irv didn't like the sound the engine was making once and rebuilt it for no other reason around the 400,000 mile mark. Otherwise the car is very much on its original parts. I last saw it about 4 years ago. It look both great and lived in at the same time (it's a small cockpit to begin with and it was cluttered up with CB radio equipment.)

There's the link to the world book of records about the volvo. I was a little off on the mileage, it's only 2.25 million, but since then I'm sure he put more on the car.
