Changing Spark Plugs on a 94 Impala

Can someone describe to me how to get at all the spark plugs in a 94 Impala? Or give me a web address that would be able to tell me how?

One more question...Took the car to emissions today and it failed, too much unburned fuel and too much CO2...any ideas? Thanks!

Emmissions-air filter, plugs, dirty IAC valve...

Change plugs-the front 3 are easy. Be sure to start the new ones by hand so you dont cross thread. For the rear ones. Remove the "dog bone" motor mounts on the top front side. Put a small floor jack under the engine oil pan and lift it up, it will rotate forward. Now you can access the rear plugs. Hope this helps. Easy and fast job. Good Luck.

One more quick question, changing the spark plugs....I got off the internet that you can get to two of them through the wheelwell and the other through the bottom of the car.

Is this possible?

Not the easiest way to do it. I guess this was done by someone who did not know that the engine "rolls" forward.

Well, on a '94, the engine does not roll forward. It's not a V-6 engine. It should be a V-8 LT1...

They are a challenge to get at, But with a little ingenuity, and some swivels and extensions, you should be able to do it.
