thanks for the response s13wannabe, ill look into eagles. i dono s2000's r soo fun to drive. But i bet one of these other cars would be even more fun.

hey jekylandhyde i failed to mention this, my car has to be street legal, i took a peek at ur car and it looks totally illegal. great track car but i need to get to school.

People keep talking about civics and how they dont get they're deserved credit, well when i went to test drive a s2000 today, which was incredibly fun, i saw a new civic si, if you turboed that would that be a quick and good car? Whatever car i get i want to be quick in the quarter mile but i wanna be able to take it on the track too. which is usually harder for civics and is why i was looking s2000s cuz they own on the track and high speed turns

I don't know about that. There was a video on this forum of an eg hatch with an ITR motor and suspension that made S2000 look slow and hung right with a Lotus Elise.

ImportRacer, my car is perfectly legal.

We have a 10 second MR2 that has all options and is 100% street driven in Florida.

you can get a civic cheap...get a 99 (any model trim since you're going to swap stuff out anyway and not stick with d-series) for about $6000-$7000 for one in decent shape, even lower if you use the auto trader books or auctions. If you don't mind an older car, you can get older civics for way cheaper, like i got my 1990 for $2000, and my friends thought that was a lot. With the $4000 you saved, you can get a turbo and a swap. Or, if you bought the other $6000 civic, you can get the engine swapped, turbo kit on, suspension changed, and even have money for racing seats, etc, and you'd STILL have money left over...lol

Eg6 With An H22 And A 75 Shot Is Guranted Mid 12's, Mr-2 With The 4g63, Or 24o With Ka24 Turbo(capable Of 400whp) Stock Internals, But Do U Want A Daily Driver 2? Or Just All Out Drag? Dsm Suck!

You have spouted long enough.

Number 1 EG6 means a JDM Civic SiR hatch, if he were to get a hatch, it'd be an EH1 or EH2.

Number 2 Since when is a 4G63 a Toyota MR2 motor? That would be the DSM which you so hate.

Number 3 You're saying DSM sucks, and you have a SOHC? It'll run circles around you.

Dsm Tranny Dont Last, Motors Over Heat, Coil Packs Crack, Transfer Case Blows...literaly....what Else Do U Want...its Made From Chyrsler

Number 4 Those components are Mitsubishi, it is the 420A Eclipse motor which is actually Chrysler made.

I'd like to find one for that much. All the Turbos I find are like $6000. If I find one for that much, I'm buying one without a second thought.

hey s13 wannabe u said their was a video of an eg hatch that was almost as fast as a lotus elise? Well i would be very interested if you could give me a link of that video.

And JekylandHyde, i know u said i should get an mr2 turbo with very low miles, but besides that what are some of the major modifications i would do to work on turning it into an 11 second mr2?

11s in the MR2:
Intake, exhaust, boost controller, turbo kit, intercooler, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and I would throw in water injection and race fuel for engine safety.

Good tires, good driving, you can see 11s.

I don't know how to set up a link but just go to the 92-95 Civic forum and run a search for "elise" and it will bring up the thread. The video is on it, it's called like "Civic Type-R vs Lotus Elise." It's an awsome and inspiring video.

For cheap turbo kits go to cheapturbos.com. They are very reasonably priced and that's what my buddy has on his hatch that made 278whp on 8psi with Hondata.
