ok let me ask u guyz something i got a 91 dx hatch an i baught a d16y5 engine also baught a si tranny will my dx axles fit cuz the guy whos doin the swap said yes an also how does this sound use my old dizzy an mani for now im goin to do the mfi swap later an should i wire up v-tec right now to a tockle untill i get a p28 ecu an obd1 obd0 harness is that safe?

you are better off doing all the work at the same time, and I wouldn't use a toggle switch for the VTEC either.

dont run VTEC with DPFI, please. its a waste of time, and the only way to make it possible is the wrong way, by using an RPM activated switch or, 'shudder', a toggle switch.

just do it right, and convert to MPFI. it doesnt help to open your valves more and for a longer duration (which is what VTEC does) if there isnt enough gas to mix with the air (which it wont get if you are using 2 injectors for 4 cylinders)

d16y5? Is that the eco vtec? and aren't the y series all obd2? Sounds like you are going to make it more of a headache by not doing it the right way first.

you will need si axles anytime your doing a engine swap into a dx with any engine other than a dx engine
