This morning was a cold one in Mobile, AL (in the 30's). When I got in the car and started it up, a light came on with a wrench and the word service. Does anyone know what this may mean? I did not drive it as a precaution. Any help is appreciated.

That is the service light. It means the computer has picked up a serious problem; okay it may not be too serious but it is giving you a warning to park the car asap cuz something is about to break. Have you noticed anything unusual going on with your car?

it means your car has a problem with a non-emission related system. a special GM/Saturn scantool is need to access "wrench light" codes. go to a Saturn dealership for a diagontic. if there are no Saturn dealers in your are, any other GM dealership should be able to help you.
