Ok so heres my problem
i went ona 20min drive to see a friend with a friend
now keep in mind for the last week ive had a squeeky belt
just havent got to tightening it

ok so i drove there
everything fine
i go home drop off friend
and just as im almost home
my radio starts turning off and on

im like weird
maybe somethings stuck
so im like ok turn off the car and turn on

turn on

abra cadabra

all the lights just flicker?

im like wtffffffff
so i call my friend
he comes
jumps me
everything starts right up

i get halfway home
and all my electrical accessories just stop working except the dash light and the head lights

windows barely move
cd player stops goes to just the little red light on
and than eventualy no red light

and than

my car runs sluggish
like theres no power

so im thinking
its battery or alternator

but i mean could the belt have anything to do with this?

im going to do as advised tomorrow
check for loose connections
bad terminals

if that doesnt work
i suppose ill go have the battery tested
than if thats not the problem
ill get a jump and have my alternator tested

Do i have to turn off the car for them to test the alternator? lol

so anyways
anyone have any ideas

i mean this is just so sudden

i would check the belt and tensioner(its automatic, it can't be tightened, only replaced)

then check the alternator, check will who you are going to test is with, chances are it will need removed from the vehicle for testing. need a how-to?

hey i actually found that the harness holding the ac compressor was broke
so i took a bolt off one side and moved it to the other side to stabilize it, and it put the blet on the right track and i guess the alternator wasnt recevieving enuff of the belt and it fixed that also
so thanks for ur help :-)

replace that bolt as soon as you can, or more problems will come
