uhhh ooooo

ok i need help when i start up my sl2 she has high miles 330,000 but any wayz so when i start here my oil heat gauge cranks all the way to hot then shakes between hot and cold i am starting to worry about it cause i thought it was all because of cold starts could that be the problem ? or should i give here another oil change any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

the stock gauge is coolent temp, did you install a aftermarket oil temp gauge?

ether way, have you ever replace the ECT?

no i havent how much would one cost me?

the only ECT i recommend is the brass-tip OEM sensor from the dealership, its about $15
