I have a nasty ground loop problem and I need to know where mitsu has hidden the amp for my 2000 Montero Sport XLS. I will probably be changing/upgrading the ground and possibly the power for the amp. Thanks!

No Posts? No one has any idea where the amp is? It's been, what, nearly six months?

To anyone who cares...
I found it in the right rear panel mounted inside the body.

I was looking for the amp myself for serveral months.
Now that we know it is in right rear body panel - how did you get at it?

I had to take the interior panel off (PITA) to get to it. After the panels are off, it's just four bolts to get it outa there. I think mines dieing a slow groundlooping death. I put my old head unit in and if the head unit is on, no ground loop. If the head unit is off, piercing loud ground loop.
I took a lot out to get to it, but at that point I was in "I don't care what gets destroyed! MUST... KILL... GROUNDLOOP" mode, but I took out the bed trays and both left and right panels.
