valve

I have a 95 sl2 twin cam. When I start the car when it is cold the valve closes to the timming chain is real loud. Has the motor warms up it gets quiter. I think this motor has hydraulic valves? Any suggestions?

it does have hydralic valves, change the oil every 3000 miles, mine start to tick after about 2000 miles. besure you use 5W-30 or 10W-30. if it is more of a rattle then a tick you may need a timing chain soon(fix it before it breaks). how fast does the oil get dirty?
