My 95 impala won't start, I suspect it is the crank sensor, Is there any way to check it without going to the trouble of replacing it?

I have a buddy that has a 95 impala also and his wouldn't start. He tried replaceing a few different things on it. He replaced the MAP sensor on his. He replaced the knock sensor with no change. Just thought i would put this in your head as an idea...

Yes, it runs now, runs better then it did before. I think he got a new comptuer and threw it in there too. But i dont think it was the computer. He's like me, just get parts and throw them at it and keep going till it's fixed...lol....

I know its a little late...but I had the same problem with my '95 SS and I found out it was only the coil wire. The original is a POS and new one cost $22! It solved the problem though.
