ok,
I think my water pumps going out,
I here sqeaking at 2300 rpm & 4000 rpm,screaching !#!
doesn't sqeak when cold,
sqeaking on & off, while setting steady idel,
plus,I her some raddling noise coming from somewhere!
I replaced the alternator,3 different belts, made shore all bolts
was tightend,wd-40'ed some stuff, cant get it to go away,
so I'm replacing the water pump,
I had a good mechanic install one in front of me on my old motor,
d15b2,but now me & my brothers going to try it,on a d15b8,
I dont think its nothing, but just wanted to check up on some things,
about installing one,
would it be the same as a d15b2,90 civic? from a 92 cx?
& practicly just take off:
valve cover,timing belt cover,
mark where the timing belt was,
loosen the timing belt,
unbolt the water pump,
& reverse for installation?
thx for any help

If the water pump got the t/belt the slightest bit wet REPLACE that to are you will be very sorry when she snaps. Valves crash into pistons and all types of damage may happen.

Getting the crank bolt off may be your big issue unless you have access to a high powered impact gun.
