I'm having some trouble deciding which ones to use on the Veilside.
I did get to spray all 3 with clear tonight. So I have to decide what wheels I'm using so I can modify the chassis correctly.
I have narrowed it down to 3 choices though.
Volk 19" CE28's with rear trim rings

Volk 19" TE37's with rear trim rings
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/911%20Veilside/VS_25.jpg
19 Racing Harts trim rings front and rear.

Koenig with kit supplied wheels

Im sort of partial to the racing harts. they suit the look. IMO i dont think the CE28s suit the over all shape of the car.

TE37's with rear trim rings look great on the car.
The kit wheels look just right on the koenig especially with that color.

For the red porsche the CE28's look best. Btw where did you get the CE28's if you don't mind me askig?
edit: I found they don't sell them anymore :( Anyone wanna sell :p btw where did you get those extra rim lip pieces?

The colors look great Matt. The CE's don't look right, the Racing Harts look better but this car is one of those that will be hard to find just the right rim. The TE37's are the best of the lot. The Koenig doesn't need custom rims, it's fine w/the kit supplied BBS rims.
Dammit if you've got me wanting to get my Koenig 928 back out of the box   .

Agree!
If you use those other rims, use some different color than silver for rims. Like black.

I like the Racing Harts. With the extra detail on the spokes and whatnot, their complex look is more suited to the complex Veilside kit. the CE28s look funny and the TE37s look too simple. You know, since you asked for an opinion and all.

I like the TE37's and the Hart's. Just use the TE37's on one side and the Hart's on the other, that way it'll look good from both sides.

I've been polishing and polishing, and polishing. :)
I've finished shining up the 959 and the Koenig cars.
The Veilside I saved until last, because it has so many surfaces to cut and polish. I have completed the roof, hood, front fenders and nose.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/911%20Veilside/VS_28.jpg
I took this with the flash. The metallics are blue and tiny, and not really noticeable until you get very close.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/911%20Veilside/VS_29.jpg
I have decided to go with the TE37's for the Veilside car, I have already painted them Titanium metallizer and clearcoated them.
The 959 will sport stock rims, sprayed gunmetal. Very stealthy looking. :evillol:
