for the si i think its obd2 could be wrong....the ecu code is p2t, try searching a junk yard for one for cheap

Hey no way you will find a si ecu in a junkyard! Most likely they used an obd0 ecu, maybe a PR3, or a PW0. Check the ecu under the passangers floormat. Remove the metal cover with 4 10mm. bolts, then pull the ecu out. It should read something like 37820-_ _ _-.... then tell us the next 3 letters/digits after 37820! thats what we need to know.
And if they did use the si ecu (1999-2000) its OBD2B

The junkyards where im from are full of goodies that no one looks for. A friend got a full b16 swap for 500 bucks from a junkyard here. All the kids around here are all into the body kits and fart can exhausts, so the advantage for us who are into performance is we get all their wrecked stuff! Its great to have kids with parents who spend too much money on their kids in this town lol

i got the numbers off the ecu... first of all it had a marker mark on the top said b16... there where two sets of numbers... first set said 37820-pr3-9 01 and the second set says 411-104700 AB... is this the right ecu for vtec to work with it?
Thanks Tyrell

After using the search function.... use the "PR3" ECU that came with your B16 swap... (supposedly better than PW0 ecu. It will work with vtec for your B16 if you wire up your vtec solenoid to your ECU... but you'll have to ask somebody else on how to do that...

sorry i got in a hurry and forgot to use the search function even though it is repeated over and over agian... but thanks that is all i needed i am going to have a shop hook up the wire's most likely i dont wanna mess anything up. i just didnt want them to tell me i had the wrong ecu and try to rip me off...
Thanks agian

i ve have had the car up to about 8,000 rpms with no cut out or limiter kicking in... so do you think the ecu might be chipped?
