89 sable front speaker replacement

Is it possible to reuse the proprietary speaker mounts that come with the Sable?

Also, I'm having a hard time finding out if aftermarket adapters are available for that year/make/model.

And would it be possible for someone to tell me where to find the audio specs for various cars?
