K+N Air Filter

Installed the k+n cone filter kit installed all components correctly--now the engine light comes on?? Any suggestions

check all the vaccume hoses from the intake tubes all the way til they meet in the engine. ive found that they come out really easy when your doing that stuff. but those may not trigger the light either. its worth a quick look

I did something similar with my T-Bird and had the same problem. I disconnected the battery similar to a soft reset and it took care of the check engine light.
