Whats immature is banning some one for there opinion on JDM parts. Let me guess, no one knows why he was banned, but we all know it happened in the middle of a debate with you! Who cares, the debate was stupid, but why was he banned for it? Anyone?
OMG, I didn't ban his ass. I can't ban people I'm just a member, not a mod or an admin. I didn't PM a mod to get him banned or anything like that. We were having a debate and expressing our opinions that's it. I don't think there was a reason for him to be banned either.

Okay, first of all, what's up leathernecks! I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, too, in 97, 98, and 99. 2nd Radio Bn and 26th MEU. Many a glorious time did my friends and I outrun the MPs out on Private Bolio Rd and then haul ass off base or hide out in the PX parking lot. Used to take my Civic on some of the trails, too. Good times, man!

Now, my feelings on "rice". Everyone has something they consider rice. Chevy drivers think all Jap cars are rice. I've got friends with civics who think I'm rice because I have I/H/E and alloy rims (just 14" Honda ones). I think anyone with a spoiler and a body kit is rice. People with JDM kits think people with USDM parts are rice. And people with cheap ass Autozone-special fogs and short rams think Hyundai drivers are rice. It never ends. I don't worry about my friends calling me rice. I just like to keep my "rice" under the hood, so it's easier to blend in with the crowd.

yeah, but not that it's bad, as long as you like it then it's cool. I'm not one of those guys in these forums that goes around bitching that everyone is rice. The only time rice bothers me is when it interferes with other drivers, like blue headlights. But as long as you're not making the road dangerous for other people, do what makes you happy.

I was pushing to split the forums to have one for people who do mods for looks, and another one for people who do mods for performance. They are two completely different mindsets but they both have good things about them.

My original post in this thread was just trying to wake up everyone to see how The Man is using you. The government wants all these electronic locators and wireless communications to be in style, so once people are dependent on them and all cars come standard with them, they can start using them to catch speeders.

ok man i get you nad with my first post in this i was trying to get people to see that this is a neat jdm part that i never really knew existed and that i found neat and that i thought the honda community would also. as soon as my car is put back together ill post pics but right now its in the middle of a b16b swap and its torn to hell after thats put in its off to get repainted honda flamico black and then the carbon creations c1 kit goes back on which includes a carbon fiber front bumer, rear bumber and sides skirts and in carbon going on the car oem fenders and hood also trunk, just put in type r red recaro seats and a new set of tein coilovers it also has a greddy evo2 exhaust so if thats rice to you all so be it but hey its my opinion i own the car and have to drive it everyday not all of you

Everyone has their own opinion about rice and thats fine...what some might consider rice, others may not...we all know what is rice (stickers, big ass wings, muffler tips, chrome hubcaps, etc.)...others consider other things rice (fake name brand rims, fake jdm cars, universal mufflers, etc) and thats fine too, who cares what other people think about your car...some might consider me rice because i have i/h/e...you know what i say to them?? "i might be considered rice..but can you beat me??" 9 outta 10 times the answer is no...but i dont get mad and throw hissy fits cuz they call me rice...fuck em and feed em beans is what i say...Rice IS in the eye of the beholder...i have friends that have altezza's and tips and neon lights but i dont pass judgement on them because i know without a doubt that i can smoke them in a race, my car may not look the best or get the most attention but its the fastest outta me and my folks cars and thats all im concerned with...as for b18ls...no i dont have a 10 sec. car...not many people do..apparently you missed the point of that story but thats neither here nor there..what i said was when a ricer pulls up to me thinkin he can beat me in a race because i dont have a pepboys credit card, they lose the race because i dont spend my money on cheap ugly accessories that make my car slower...i buy quality performance parts that give me more HP and TRQ....now maybe if i had the money i would buy 10 more cars and rice 5 of them the fuck out just to say i have them, but i dont...so i choose to invest my money into what I like....i guess the point im tryin to make is i dont pass judgement on anyone, do what ever it is you like...if u love jdm so much, then good for u, i hope your satisfied with whatever it is you put on your car, and that goes for anyone else..killa crx has a wing on his car but hes happy with it and that all that matters...dont let anyone tell you that what u like and want isnt right...everyone is entitled to their own opinion

i agree with you totally we all own hondas and they come from japan so the people with american cars and going to think were rice no matter what we do so i say every one go out and buy a box of white rice and put a label on it saying HONDA Race fuel and leave the part the says white rice uncover

I agree..no one should be put down for anything they do...to each his own...but at the same time you cant really put someone down for expressing their opinion....maybe its just a temp ban though...have him try his User name and pass later on today.

Hey. We are on Page six now. This "Rice" topic started on page one. Not a bad little debate, and no feelings were hurt. Except for the fact nicodemus got banned! Otherwise I think it was handled fairly well.

I would try eBay, but there is a guy here in Jacksonville that has them. I don't have his number any more, but you can get it from Ben at "ESC" aka "Bens Automotive" Just tell him Ray with the silver Integra sent you. The guy has a container on Piney Green full of JDM parts.

Back on topic. Um, JDM parts rock... Who cares about Rice. (Unless it's taco rice and cheese)
