Hello Everyone,
I bought a 1996 Ford Windstar LX at an auction. It's equiped with one of those handy dandy door keyless entry things (at least thats what I think it is).
Theres a panel under the drivers side door handle with digits 0 through 10 I believe. The other day I was messing with it to see if I could get it to unlock the doors. Just putting in 123456789 and 0000000 ect. Didn't get the doors to unlock but did get the alarm to activate.
Is there any way to reprogram this feature? Does anyone have a manual with the info? I will buy one for myself off ebay if it has the correct info. I just don't want to get a manual and find out it can't help me. Does this mean I have keyless entry?
Thanks for any input.

Update:
Okay I just called Ford and was given some information. He let me know there was a recall on part of the hood of my car and gave me the number for a Ford dealer who would fix the problem.
He also doublechecked to see if he had the passcode for the door panel. He said I would have to go to a dealer to get this as well.
Well I didn't want to accept that for answer because I am almost positive the dealer would try and charge me to use their little machine and I don't want to pay.
So I kept looking around the Ford site and low and behold, they have the owners manuals for 96 and newer vehicles on there to download free of charge.
I downloaded it, took a look and found out you can locate the passcode either taped in the glove compartment box or the computer module.
It also list some other features that you don't need the passcode for such as locking all doors and activating the alarm (press 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time).
Hope this helps others out.
