Hey rob if you ever want to use other powders i can get 25 or so different colours at a local paint place around $5 for 10 grams which is a fair bit

A little more progress. Painted all the trim, added Sakatsu lenses and finished off the lights. I added a racing fuel filler and aerial.
The mesh was taken from the S27 Enzo Ferrari detail kit.

I'm getting close to finishing this now!

Love the look of the 'pearl'. Makes it look very irridescent (sp?). This project has just been copied to my 'inspiration' folder... I expect someday I will try something similar!! Nice work.

The Body is from the Tamiya Sard Supra GT kit.

I moulded the wheel arches to look like stock TRD 3000GT and also added about 2mm to the underside of the wheel arches again to resemble the original car. Also added the SAS hood http://www.scaleautostyle.com/supra_hood.php

This has to be about the classiest tuner I've ever seen. This model oozes superb craftsmanship, subtle detailing, and the all-important "gotcha factor". A risky adventure in modeling and materials whose outcome is amazing and inspiring.
