Which one do you think is better and WHY!!!!!!????????

Look in the Cars in General > Car comparisons section of AF and there are tons of threads with reasons why one is better than another.
Id take the s2000 with the 2.0 liter engine, but thats just personal preference.

^^ thats because you own a honda that is why you would take one, but i like the 350z and will chose it anyday for a honda.

Based on looks I'd take the S2k. In trying to move the 350 back to the styling cues of the older Z's (something they failed to evoke, IMHO) they made the car look fairly mediocre from any angle but the front.

No, its not because I own a Honda. Ive owned and driven various cars and Im only 19. And I worked in the Nissan, so im not baised. I would just prefer it over the 350z, once again PERSONAL PREFERENCE. Both cars are great.

I test drove both of them last weekend and the s2k handled A LOT nicer!!! I am a fan of the 350's little maintaining requirements (I mean, 105,000miles b4 first tune up is crazy cool) but the s2k has more ummph!!!

I guess it will depend on if you prefer torque or high revv........ S2K won't be nice to drive ard city area as Z... nor up a slop from stop!! I like nissan 6cylinder but i like high revv too....... so hard to decide on both!! If i had two cars, a family and a sports, i would take the S2k... else 350Z... cheers..

2.0 s2000 for 18-20 G's on autotrader.com plus 4 G's for supercharger= 320 HP at the crank for under 25 G's. Classic race style and better suspension already included. I like 350Z, just think s2000 is better.

The S2000 is way better
1. S2000 looks way better
2.S2000 is faster on track.
3. S2000 has better traction.
4. S2000 has better build quality and is more relible.
5. 350Z has a crappy motor that nissan stole out of a piece of crap french car.
6.S2000 makes way more horsepower per liter.
7.S2000 sounds a lot better.

Well, being a licensed SCCA instructor and having driven both on the track, I have to go with the 350Z. More predictable and flatter torque curve and more potential to make more power in the aftermarket. But, most of you ricers will never understand that....

I was undecided between the 350 and G35 for 2 months and ended up with an S2000. For me it was comfort and the SUPER slick shifter that sold me on the s2k. Both sound good, but I do prefer the 350's exhaust note. The Z is more torquey, but I was pleasantly surprised by the torque of the 2.2l s2k (and I've been driving a 300+ft-lb GTP for 2 years). But in the end, the Z was uncomfortable to drive, lacked usable storage, and the sound system sucked bad. The s2k just fit me and the fact that it is convertible is a bonus at the same price. Plus, there's Honda's reputation vs. the 2003 Z that I drove that was a rattle trap and had some nasty driveline noises. I could go on, but those are the main points :)

Predictability is not always a good thing. If you wanted predictability, you would have been driving something FWD. Some of you wannabe tuners don't understand that more power does not necessarily equate to being better.

For fun factor, Honda S2000 is perfect pick, 240 hps for that little car? that's not a joke guys, S2000 is fun, I would pick that. As for the 350Z, if I could pick between 350Z or Infiniti G35, Infiniti G35 all the way. 350Z is a sport type, G35 is more of luxury type, G35 looks nicer.

The S2000 is way better
1. S2000 looks way better ......Opinion
2.S2000 is faster on track. .....Driver's Race
3. S2000 has better traction. .....Proof?
4. S2000 has better build quality and is more relible. ....Possibly, but ask in 10yrs
5. 350Z has a crappy motor that nissan stole out of a piece of crap french car. ....Crap motor? S2k JGTC what now? thought so.
6.S2000 makes way more horsepower per liter. ....Oh god...
7.S2000 sounds a lot better.....Opinion
congrats on not contributing much to the topic, dumbass.
anyways, its a total coin-toss in my case, either one would do and perform very similar. the s2k is a much lighter car and doesnt respond well to mods but being a light car, doesnt need big numbers to perform either. the 350 has displacement and has a lot of room for growth, which is a plus because the car is a bit heavy for the numbers it boasts. styling for both are so-so but can look alot better with a kit which is a toss-up. i like the interor of the Z better but that doesnt mean anything to me though in comparing the two. the Z is a more conventional car but then again, who buys sportcars for conventionality. like i said, either or is fine because performance is very much alike.

how do you size the 1.3 L in the RX-8...i have wondered this, because i have seen a few places that claim the RX-8 has the highest hp per liter...but i am not sure how they calculate that for the rotary...

depends what you're looking for. S2000 is a little more of a track car, with a harsher ride and less functionality. However, it's a fun, high revving, amazing handling car. The 350 is quite a bit more torquey, and has some more usable features. If you're leasing, the 350 doesn't come close to the S in price, otherwise, they're about comparable.

it is a flawed poll anyways, should be in car comparisons not the s2000 forum. of course you got more votes for the s2000, the poll is in the s2000 forum. duh.
put the same poll in the 350z forum and i bet you get different results.

The Honda Life (not marketed in the U.S.) has a factory turbo. Also, check this article out:
Honda turbos coming?
According to information posted to a popular Honda enthusiast Web site, honda-acura.net, the automaker plans to bring its first-ever turbocharged engine to the U.S. for model year 2006 or 2007. The 2.4-liter four would be fitted into either the Acura TSX or a new high-performance Civic model that would slot above the Si. The engine would be of a new design - not that of the 2.4 currently used in several U.S. products including the best-selling Accord - and would probably make about 240 hp. The next-generation Honda Civic Si will have either a 2.0-liter or 2.4-liter four, with standard horsepower boosted to around 200 hp in either form. Honda has already announced that it will offer a version of variable cylinder management system on a redesigned Pilot due this fall, and it will also offer a revamped engine lineup, including hybrid offerings, on Civic models, which will be all-new for '06.
