depends what you're looking for. S2000 is a little more of a track car, with a harsher ride and less functionality. However, it's a fun, high revving, amazing handling car. The 350 is quite a bit more torquey, and has some more usable features. If you're leasing, the 350 doesn't come close to the S in price, otherwise, they're about comparable.
i have heard the 350z is the harsher ride..so ive heard

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has had their S2000 out on the track, I'm thinking of buying one and am comparing it with Vauxhall VXR220, Nissan 350Z, Honda S2000 and RX-8. Just the groundwork now, so any info would be much appreciated!
Many thanks.

I can't believe there's actually a threat about this! I've been torn between these two cars for a while! It's a hard choice for me. The S2k has a 9k redline, and it looks amazing, and it's a Honda, but then, you have the 350z, the latest creation from the Z car series. I'm a Z fanatic myself, but I'm still not sure which I would get. They both look freakin' awesome, and they both have awesome features. If only the Z had VTEC, and if only the S2k had more torque. What the heck. All I have to say is, PRELUDE LOVE!!!! Later guys!

I like the styling of the 350 better, but the reliability of the s2000.

Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear put it perfectly. Sports cars designed as convertibles from the beginning, e.g. Boxster, Z4, and S2000, are superior to those cut-the-roof-jobs, e.g. MB SLK/Crossfire, Audi TT, and 350z.

S2000 is better around the corners. 350z is faster in a straight line. But why do you need straight line performance if you can't take that around a corner? BTW the S2000 has 60 less horsepower than the 350z.

Z all the way.. Faster, looks better, and it is a Z Nissan, not a Honda..
The first Generation 350Z was faster than the Honda in the track; the latest Z should be much faster with the 20hp gained, so the Honda won't have a chance to compete with the Z.

First of all, the 350z does not look better than the s2000. If you ask anybody which one looks better they will say the s2000. Second of all, the s2000 stayed in front of z until the 2:50 mark.

i'd take the 350z i like torque as well. its kinda nice to make your tires spin at 3000rpm's instead of 7000rpm's
